Over recent years, increasing housing demand and the need for it to be met with good quality design and master-planning have been high on the agenda within the profession. It remains a challenge to create sustainable communities within affordable limits, particularly in the context of increasing pressure to regenerate Brownfield sites.
seven are heavily involved in addressing many of the issues surrounding sustainable communities with projects ranging in scale from individual homes through to large scale master-planning. The practice approach integrates the Code for Sustainable Homes guidance and is focused on not only creating uplifting, new places to live, but integrating these with their local community and context.
