Seven were appointed by Preston College in 2007 to explore strategies for the wholesale redevelopment of their 40,000m2 estate. The brief highlighted the need to create a new image for the College and create an efficient, flexible and uplifting new learning environment for its students.
Seven undertook a detailed assessment of the College curriculum, numerous discussions with the College team and a review existing campus before exploring a series of options from potential new site acquisitions and campus decants through to substantial building refurbishments.
The preferred options focus on the rationalisation of the College's Fulwood campus, with a phased new build solution to create circa 28,000m2 of high quality, flexible teaching and learning accommodation.
