Seven is a forward looking, innovative practice which respects and appreciates existing buildings of architectural or historic worth. We enjoy working with such structures, always seeking to acknowledge and their unique qualities and settings and emphasise their relative importance through considered design.
We do not feel the need to replicate the past but we are very interested in understanding the historic context of a site to allow us to design interventions and additions which appropriately reinterpret form and scale and enhance the character and appearance of the original structure.
