An evening reception at the House of Commons saw director, Simon Parker, attend the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK event last week.

As an alumni of the Goldman Sachs programme, Simon was one of 150 attendees listening to speeches from Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, Richard Gnodde, CEO of Goldman Sachs International and Kelly Tolhurst MP, Small Business Minister.  The programme supports growth orientated small businesses to help boost revenues and employment growth and was designed by world class international and national experts in entrepreneurial learning.  Strategy development, practical support, business coaching and peer-to-peer networking all form part of the programme.

Aligned with Global Entrepreneur Week, the reception was a fantastic opportunity to discuss growth plan strategies with the network of other small businesses in attendance and share the success story of Seven.  With significant development at Seven over the last couple of years, in terms of operational improvements, recruitment and work winning, Simon recognises that this type of practical learning really is a tangible benefit to shape the business for ongoing expansion, whilst remaining committed to the core values and ethos of the practice.
