Simon Parker, National President of the business networking group Interact, recognised the next generation by launching the ‘Rising Star’ award at the national event on Thursday 18th October.

Hosting the annual luncheon, Simon, who is also director and co-founder of Seven Architecture, dedicated the event to the emerging professional talent coming through the ranks within the construction and property industry across the UK.

Craig Martin from Novus Property Solutions, James Norman from Robert Norman Construction and Beth Paxton from Apex Acoustics were crowned ‘Rising Star’ winners, with the judges selection based on “an outstanding contribution to their profession through expertise, innovation and consideration of others”.

The 150 senior professionals who attended the event at the Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall also heard from Alan Chambers MBE.  The former Royal Marine Commando and Polar Adventurer inspired the audience with his story of unique achievements and determines style of leadership.

Simon stated, “I believe in celebrating the emerging talent of the next generation and, by launching these awards for the first time, the Interact Group recognises their impressive achievements to date.  A huge congratulations goes to Craig, James and Beth who thoroughly deserve this acknowledgement.  We hope to inspire these individuals and have confidence that this endorsement will encourage them to become future leaders, in turn, inspiring others throughout their professional careers”.

With 28 branches across the UK, Interact brings together 450 construction and property experts with a focus on networking to generate business opportunities.
