Wirral Youth Zone, completed in April 2017 won the Best Public Service Building at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Awards 2018. Since its completion, Wirral Youth Zone, named ‘The Hive’ by its members, has achieved double its target membership of 3,000 members per year and has already made a substantial impact on the lives of the young people within the local community.

The Hive, Wirral Youth Zone is a state of the art community facility for young people in the local area. It provides a high quality, multi-functional space which is safe and affordable, where they are given enjoyable, positive and constructive opportunities for their leisure time. OnSide Youth Zones is a charity which aids the development of young people, providing a network of 21^stCentury Youth Zones giving all young people somewhere safe and inspiring to go in their leisure time.
