Surf Snowdonia
Surf Snowdonia is a large extreme sports destination in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. It houses a unique artificial 30,000sqm wave surfing lake, the world’s first commercial application of the technology, using 100% rain water. State of the art buildings designed using recycled and re-used materials cater for spectators, sports people and campers.
Seven designed several buildings for this exciting leisure destination including the main ‘Hub’ with an impressive 50m long glazed elevation overlooking the surfing lake, giving spectators unhindered views of the action. It also houses the reception, a café bar, changing facilities and wet suit and surf board hire.
The ‘Activity Building’ is home to the soft play shack, a multi-decked children’s assault course as well as a coffee shop overlooking the ‘Crash and Splash’ lagoon offering a view of fun watery antics including ‘blobbing’ and assault course with giant spinning balls, monkey bars, climbing wall, balance beam and rope bridge.
