Two adjacent sites, in central Harrogate, have been granted planning to extend the residential offering within the town.
Working on behalf of Quatto Property Group, the former Southfield office block site on Station Parade will be transformed into 20 apartments.
Works have just started on site at Southfield House to redevelop the former office building into nine apartments. The adjacent site will accommodate a further 11 apartments, by creating a separate new-build block, Ellis House.
Sitting within a conservation area on the corner of Station Parade and York Place, and impressive views of The Stray, Southfield and Ellis House will encompass frontages which will be sensitive to the surrounding area’s historical buildings as well as elevations that will ensure a balanced and symmetrical appearance.
The high spec development, with undercroft parking, will be predominantly two-bedroom apartments with the inclusion of a one-bedroom apartment.
The scheme is due for completion by late 2019.
